Today, there are thousands of documented healings through Christian Science treatment alone. A practitioner can help you understand how prayer heals and help you find healing for yourself through treatment.
A practitioner is a Christian Scientist who devotes their full professional time to assisting others through prayer in the ministry of Christian healing. It's someone who is quietly working to heal today's world through the public practice of Christian Science. It's someone who has declared that all things are possible to God and proves daily that Christian Science heals. They follow the teachings of the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. In the late 1800's she discovered the principles of Christian healing, as taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus. She wrote the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures to fully explain the religion.
To be a practitioner requires humility and love. It also demands Bible study, consecrated prayer, and a demonstrated ability to apply spiritual understanding to the overcoming of human discords. Preparation includes a course of study with an authorized teacher of Christian Science and a record of successful healing of others.
As professionals, practitioners charge for their services. My current rates are as follows:
- $20 per treatment
- $20 for one hour office appointment.
In accordance with the Church Manual, rates will be reduced to $18 a day in chronic cases of recovery with over three days of treatment, and in cases where a cure has not yet been effected. You will be asked for your name and billing address during our first conversation. Statements are sent on the first day of the following month. Payments for treatment may be made by check or online through PayPal.
